New safety campaign launched

A new campaign is being launched across the MJAllen Group of companies to encourage our staff to report any near misses or dangerous situations that they may spot, both during their work and around the workplace premises.

Statistics show that for every 600 near misses, there are 30 incidents that result in damage to property, 10 serious injuries and even up to 1 fatality. Here at MJAllen Group we know that the more risks one takes, the greater the likelihood of a serious injury, or worse – and we won’t accept any incidents or harm to our team.

Near misses have the potential to prevent future incidents and it is only through widespread reporting that we can get the full picture of what areas need improving or focussing upon.

All of our teams will now be able to instantly report a near miss or dangerous situation via their smartphone, right at the source of evidence, and our studies have shown that improving the speed and number of near-miss records will greatly improve our overall safety record and incident management. This is just another of the many initiatives taken across all of our businesses to ensure our British manufacturing is as safe as it can be.
